Small Business Australia boss Bill Lang said urgent cash injections were needed to help keep small businesses afloat. Bust he said unlike the $5000 cash grants that were handed out earlier this year, any new grants had to be directly proportionate to the level of impact caused by the extended lockdown.
Mr Land said half of Victoria’s 600,000 businesses, including all sole traders, had already missed out on grants because they didn’t meet government requirements.
