Laura Hartley

Head of Group Security Culture & Advisory, NAB

Laura is a criminologist specialising in cyber safety. She has worked in NAB’s Group Security team for eleven years, and previously worked in Personal, and Institutional Banking. She has a Masters in Criminology from the University of Melbourne. She started at NAB booking mortgage settlements before joining the 2013 Graduate program.

Laura leads NAB’s Security Culture & Advisory team, which works with NAB’s colleagues, customers, and the community to empower them to keep themselves safe online and in the physical world.

Sarah Mercer

Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer, Playlunch Games

With more than 20 years’ experience designing online learning games and activities, Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in safe, healthy and effective digital content creation for children. Sarah’s work focuses on aligning educational goals with the best of child-centred design practice.

Sarah co-founded Playlunch Games in 2020, collaborating with maths teachers and educational specialists to develop maths learning games and resources for teachers and parents. Playlunch Games has developed Town Squared, a beautiful multiplayer game for children that weaves maths concepts and financial literacy learning into gameplay.
