Small Business Australia mobile phone GPS analysis and Australian Bureau of Statistics data showed foot traffic fell about 70 per cent on pre-pandemic levels in the city’s five-day lockdown.
In Sydney foot traffic is down 35 per cent, Perth 19 per cent, Brisbane 18 per cent and Adelaide 12 per cent.
