A survey by Small Business Australia has found 95 per cent of travel businesses lost 70 per cent or more of their revenue during the pandemic and almost 90 per cent say they will have to close their business when JobKeeper ends.
Almost all say they are dissatisfied with the federal government’s travel support plan, which is aimed at cushioning the sector from the inevitable pain ahead.
Worryingly, almost 90 per cent say they are concerned about their mental health and wellbeing.
